Plant BS13’s Pollinator Trail – Community Volunteer Days
Would you like to learn gardening skills, meet new people, and improve your community?
This year, Heart of BS13 are planting a 1.8 mile pollinator trail, from their Climate Action Hub to Hartcliffe City Farm, to support biodiversity and increase wildlife in BS13.
They have volunteering opportunities available for anyone who would like to be involved in this project. You’ll undertake tasks such as planting pollination flowers, hedgerows and trees, as well as creating wildlife habitats.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tasks will vary to accommodate all abilities.
When: 9:30am – 3:30pm on these dates:
- Wednesday 1st March
- Monday 6th March
- Monday 20th March
- Wednesday 5th April
- Monday 17th April
- Wednesday 3rd May
- Monday 22nd May
- Wednesday 7th June
(You are welcome to volunteer for one or more days, or only the morning or afternoon, or to leave early)
Cost: FREE, plus lunch (bread and soup) and tea/coffee provided
Where: Heart of BS13 Flowers, Hartcliffe City farm, Lampton Avenue, Hartcliffe, Bristol, BS13 0QH
What to wear / bring: Dress for the weather and bring sturdy / closed footware that you don’t mind getting dirty. Gloves will be provided.
