After-School Welding Workshop for 8-16 year olds
Following the success of previous projects such as building the incredible scrap metal dragon sculpture which now lives at the farm, Women Teaching Fabrication are back to welcome more of BS13’s young people into the fascinating world of metal fabrication and welding.
This time, you will be helping to create a sculpture out of supermarket trolleys! This is the next phase of work to tackle the issue of abandoned supermarket trolleys in our community: the finished sculpture will highlight the problem, inspire change, and promote sustainability and environmental awareness.
Open to 8-16 year olds who live in BS13. A free meal to take home will be provided to each participant.
When? Wednesday 20th, Thursday 21st and Wednesday 27th November from 3:30pm to 4:30pm
Cost? £1 per session
Booking essential. Participants are welcome to attend any or all of the 3 sessions (these needed to be booked separately).
