We currently have spaces for new volunteers in several of our wellbeing groups. If you experience mild to moderate mental health challenges, volunteering in our wellbeing groups is a chance to:
- have a valued role in contributing to a farm that is loved and used by its local community
- improve mental and physical wellbeing
- increase resilience
- be socially connected
- regain or build skills for personal development and employability
Cooking for Wellbeing: Tuesdays 10:00 am – 1:00 pm in our community kitchen. Learn new recipes, meet new people and feed our hungry volunteers.
Gardening for Wellbeing: Tuesdays 10am – 12pm in our sheltered garden. Spend time in the beautiful gardens, help us maintain this well loved space and meet like minded people.
Animal Care for Wellbeing: Wednesdays 10am – 12pm. If you love animals, this is the group for you! Help us feed, clean out and care for our goats, chickens, turkeys, sheep and more as part of a supportive and welcoming group.
