Heart of BS13 are excited to be partnering with Community Learning to offer a FREE 8 week Level 1 City and Guilds Award in Horticulture. The course will take place at Heart of BS13 Flowers at Hartcliffe City Farm. It is 1 day a week, starting Tuesday 28th March 2023 for 8 weeks. No previous experience is needed.
The course will include both classroom and practical activities including topics such as:
- preparing to plant an area
- planting seeds
- looking after plants
- identifying plants and weeds
- personal safety
The course is for those who:
- are aged 19+
- have few or no qualifications (below Level 2)
- have as lived in the UK/EU/EAA for at least 3 years or have other residency status, eg. refugee, asylum seeker, leave to remain or spouse visa
