We have a new enterprise here at Hartcliffe City Farm: Heart of BS13 Compost!
Heart of BS13 will be collecting food waste from local businesses and turning it into nutritious compost using a Ridan composting machine, which recently arrived here at the farm.
The compost will be used to improve the farm’s soil, which is essential for growing food and flowers here, as well as supporting plant health and biodiversity along the 1.8 mile pollinator trail that the community are planting between the farm and Heart of BS13’s Climate Action Hub.
If you would like to get involved with planting the pollinator trail, find out more here.
